Aquatic Arts Live Vampire Shrimp | Freshwater Aquarium Filter Shrimp | Safe for Tetra, Guppy & Betta Fish Tanks

The seller is great! United Post was late on the delivery day and simply rescheduled the delivery for the next day!!!! With a box of live fish!!!! Absolutely fantastic, especially with freezing temperatures outside. I wrote to the seller, he was very responsive and asked me to keep him updated so that he could issue a refund if necessary. In the end, I took time off work, waited all day, and the delivery only arrived at 6 PM the next day and was left outside on the steps. Luckily, I was checking the entrance every 15 minutes or so while waiting for the delivery. The box was outside for no more than 10 minutes, but when I unpacked it, the water temperature had dropped to 66 degrees Fahrenheit. Within acceptable limits. I performed drip acclimatization, fed these funny lobsters a little, and released them into the main aquarium. A month has passed now, they are sitting in their burrows and filtering the water, I sometimes feed them with a syringe with shrimp food or give them pellets. The color is still light, but otherwise everything is fine with the shrimp!

I’ve had them for about a month now. They arrived packaged carefully and I drip acclimated them over a period of three hours. They are healthy and thriving. No complaints. I’ll be ordering a few more when they’re back in stock.

Super sad I spent $50 and it died in less than 24 hours. I followed the directions perfectly, My water parameters were perfect. I have no clue what went wrong.

I’ve purchased two of these Vampire shrimp from Aquatic Arts in two separate occasions. I’ve also purchased lots of other shrimp and snails from them, as well. These Vampire shrimp are great, they’re super cute and a joy to watch with their little fan hands. I received small sized shrimp, which I was very happy with. I wanted younger vampires so that I can watch them grow and develop over time. Aquatic Arts is superb at packaging their live shipments, of all the times I’ve ordered from them, I’ve never had anything dead on arrival. I was especially impressed with my last vampire shrimp order from them. The shipment was delayed in transit due to COVID19 and the poor thing ended up stuck in the system for 5 days. It’s the start of summer so I was truly expecting my first dead arrival. However, thanks to Aquatic Arts’ great packaging, I got my newest little Vampire alive and well.

Arrived fast, good insulation and comes with acclimation instructions. Both shrimp were alive and active 5 stars

Love this little guy! So cute when he is feeding and trust me, he holds his own amongst the snails and the frogs he lives with. The biggest bummer is that he is so reclusive, I very rarely see him.

This guy came very well packaged for the cold weather, and arrived with the heat pack still warm. Seems to be settling well after drip acclimation and found a spot in a floating log to hang out in. Looking forward to watching him grow :)

Once again great service. Received my order in three days! I have nothing but great things to say about Aquatic Arts. (Invert Obsession) I have ordered three different types of shrimp from them and not one DOA. All survived the trip to my house including the extras. I've said it before the shipping cost is worth every penny. Now for the Vampire shrimp. He is the coolest aquatic pet I have. And I have a lot of them. To watch him filter the water with his fans is just amazing! I highly recommend at least on of these for every aquarium that is safe for them of course He still hides a lot but I've only had him three weeks and I do have some fish(Bleeding Heart and Electric green Tetras Ghost Catfish and some danios, dwarf frogs, and other shrimp in the tank with him. Everyone seems to be getting along pretty good though. But even if I only see him every once in a while it is worth the money to watch. Of course once he gets full size he will be the biggest guy in that tank, So I'm betting that he'll be out more once he knows he is king of the tank.
