I am a high performance coach. When I design a program, I look for materials that support very specific elements of learning. It was SADLY difficult to find a solid set of flashcards with just the upper and lower case letters on the front. But, this is essential to a good phonics program. These cards cover several areas of focus. First, the upper and lower case letters are on the front. A child will learn to identify both as the appropriate letter. Second, the vowels are in red. This will create a passive understanding that these letters are somehow different, which paves the way for learning the vowels more rapidly when the time comes to do so. Third, they have pictures that help the child learn the letter sounds on the back of the card. I don't know who designed these cards, but I LOVE the fact that they put so much thought into the design. Just SUPERB.

These flash cards are the perfect size, I can throw them in my purse when we’re on the go or keep them bedside to review with my sons (1 and 4). The ring and card stock are more durable than me just using index cards myself. And I like that both the upper and lower case letters are shown to help with recognition.

My 2 year old grandson really enjoys the card, loves all the pictures.

My son loves them, He loves that they are small enough to fit in his hands and he can slip through them on his own and I can throw them in my purse for a random flash card moments while waiting anywhere (5 year old kindergarten)
