Great product. machined well. Does what it should!
Very inexpensive yet does what it should. Came packaged well. Make sure to save your old cylinder if you got one as you will need some components off of it. Doesn't come with upper or lower gakets or exhaust gasket. I used red gasket maker on the crank case side and the old copperr gasket for the top.

Good product for the price
**INSTALL** 9/03/18 The cost to get back on the trails was a gamble due to reviews but rolled the dice and I was back in action ripping up the trails after a proper break in. UPDATE 1/6/19. 2006 Yamaha Blaster SE. What I didn't mention before was I did take a Dremel and chamfer the edges and debur the ports in the cylinder, soften the piston ports and skirts, file the ring gap to spec. A proper break-in period was painfully slow but seems to have payed off with no break downs and it sounds great with strong compression. It did smoke for awhile when the rings were getting run in and the fact I ran a slightly richer mixture than 32:1 but now I can cold start it not using it for a few days first kick after one prime round and set to compression stroke using 91 octane and a 32:1. I let it warm up to operating temps by resting a finger on the outside of the cylinder fins and low rev's til it responds to a half throttle hit. A lot of the inspiration for everything I did was greatly influenced by Ken O'Connor, and Blaster Forum members. I will update again in a few months with a compression test with my type of riding style. ***UPDATE*** 5/9/21 Still going strong, I will try to post a video of it racing but if it doesn't go to Titletown Clowns on YT watch "Yamaha Blaster ripping it up"

Great kit. Works well
Great kit. Works well. It would be even better if it came with the threaded studs and nuts for a little more money. It's still a great value.

Kit was like others stated
My Yamaha oiling system burnt up my new 240 kit. So I ordered this kit and a oil block off kit. Kit was like others stated. No wrist pin bearing. I purchased one. Threads burred but no big deal. Piston looks a little cheap. No instructions. Be careful on installing the rings. The have to be positioned correctly. For the price it fired right up and I mixed the oil on the rich side. If it holds up on our upcoming dune trip I will be happy. So far so good but my 5 star could change if it fails. I understand you get what you pay for. But overall went together no issues. Lasted a 4 day dune trip with 5 plus tanks of fuel. Mix Yamaha lube 32.1 ratio. Stock jetting and exhaust. My kid ran it hard and it sound great.

Decent product for the money
I would say if you’re going to buy this product the piston is very thin it looks to be built with his little aluminum as possible and the cylinder parts are pretty jagged and gnarly. I would say if you’re going to buy this product the piston is very thin it looks to be built with his little aluminum as possible and the cylinder parts are pretty jagged and gnarly I ported mine before I put it together with a Dremel just to clean up all the sharp edges I’m about five hard tanks of fuel in and it still runs great

JUNK, GARBAGE, TRASH
Don't waste your money on this junk. Very ugly workmanship, terrible machining. They didn't even champher the ports. this is sold as a bolt on kit, if you put it together as is, it wont last a week. a couple of hours of work just to make it worth taking a chance installing. I hope it holds up for a little while, but I have already ordered a GOOD kit for when this junk fails. Never again.

Works as it should just needs ports cleaned up and a better rod bearing
Works perfect just need to clean up the ports and chamfer the ports and I would recommend a better rod bearing great for the price

Fitment….
The holes for the reeds didn’t even match up weren’t even close. The clearance thing is way too small for the reeds to fit or stock grades anyways. The head gasket was also very thin.
