Perfect gadget and has unlimited use for creative minds.
This was suggested to me in my overlanding group to keep some wires from getting caught in my refrigerator slider. Loved the idea and it worked perfectly. It comes with a bunch of attachments, seems to be solidly built. Doesn't take up room or add weight to my setup. All in all a very easy "hack"

Good retraction, fairly robust.
I had one of these for years, and it finally broke where the retract line goes into the housing; unrepairable. It works well, as shown by the repurchase to replace a broken unit. The one compliant is that on rough roads the mic will get to swinging, and a heavy Astatic mic can cause some serious bodily harm if it gets up enough velocity and bonks you on the head.

I have seen these on the market but didn't think about getting one really A friend suggested it as I was putting a new mobile in my blazer It was very easy to install I can find my mic even in the dark without even looking for it Just grab it it's right there I Love it I would recommend this to anyone with a radio in their car truck or big rig
