Pretty good Muffler
I was after a bit more sound from my 2003 5.3L Tahoe when I purchased the FlowFX. After having this muffler on my truck for several months now I can say it's definitely louder but it wasn't quite the sound I was looking for. There's nothing wrong with it and this is actually a really nice sounding muffler if you're looking for a really smooth sounding exhaust. I would say this is mellower (if that's even a word) then most of the magnaflows I have heard. That being said the flowFX does sound fuller imo then other Flowmaster mufflers out there. Much less tin can sounding and more like a Magnaflow. I personally like my exhaust to have a little more of a throaty sound to it and this was just too bass heavy for me. The biggest down side by far is the presents of drone. After reading some reviews on here, there's a handful of people claiming that the drone isn't bad or is very tolerable but to each their own. I would say this is a solid 6/10 on the drone scale. It's not the worst drone I have heard but it's enough to bother the family on road trips. For this reason I will be removing it from the Tahoe and am going to replace it with something else. I don't fault the muffler for this at all as it's not really claiming to be drone free. The construction of the muffler is good and looks to be high quality. If you don't care about drone and are looking for a smooth and mellow sounding muffler this will do.

Super aggressive deep sound
This is the most bad azz muffler on the Market for aggressive deep sound. Put this on my 2012 gti and it sounds nothing short of amazing.. The price is just incredible for this much quality

Back in the old days, I used to pay a fortune for these branded mufflers to be shipped from the States to Dubai. Thanks to Amazon, I can now buy quality stainless steel Flowmaster mufflers for the same price I'd pay if I was in the States, and same day delivery! Big thumbs up! 2.5" is the size of the inlet/outlet pipes internal diameter, by the way.

Installed it on Mk6 Jetta 2.5l i5 and I can hear exhaust pops crackles clearly. Have a small bottle resonator from Vibrant and just order another resonator bigger one, as there is drone so let’s see how it goes. As of now, the exhaust has very deep sound. I think it is more like aggressive/moderate exhaust setup for VW 2.5l engine.

So i had this installed two days ago. The drone is so bad that it literally gives me a headache after 10 minutes. Installed it on my 2021 FJ cruiser since it matches the stock exhaust pipe size. When I checked with a second exhaust shop, it was confirmed that this is a resonator not a muffler. So right now my FJ is basically straight piped. Unless you run a full race car setup, i wouldn't recommend this at all.
