Love these monitors! I bought them for my desk and they can get plenty loud. The sound they reproduce is quite crisp and well defined, great value for money! Also the sound isn’t overly harsh or colored, perfect for casual listening. This isn’t your usual plug and play though, you will need to plan out all the connections and sourcing the right inputs and voltages, I use these directly connected with LSR310S sub and it works great. Unbalanced input from PC/macbook to sub and balanced XLRs from sub to speakers. Highly recommend using lossless sources for these as they do resolve the detail very well, YT music doesn’t cut it. Placement was easy, but they do need some space from the back wall given the port. They would work best in a room that can absorb the sound waves though. I have a wooden desk, so preferred the elegant black design. Imo it looks better in person and about the size I imagined.

Good monitors, u wont go wrong under this budget

Product is good, but lacks the cables for trs and xlr output,also packaging was not worth for this much pricy item. Small wear and tear was present on bottom side corner. Otherwise item is nice 👍 One small issue I noticed after 15 days of use that the on off switch on back side is installed ininverted position means on normal on position it gets off and in normal off position it gets on.

These are quick and easy to get a really good audiophile level speaker set up done since they come with amplifiers in built. Balanced frequency response so neither bass nor treble is elevated, but at just the right levels. Bass packs a powerful punch and treble is sparkly yet not bright. Mids are great too and vocals and guitars sound amazing. Perfect for monitoring/music listening, however if you're planning to buy 2 to use with TV, then you might want to look at different speakers, as I found that the dialogue volume is low as there's no proper center channel. I'll still prefer them over any soundbar of even double the price. But for music these are absolutely mind blowing. I have expensive, just below top of the line level earphones (Empire Ears spartan IV, and before that had Audeze iSine 20) that these speakers are actually comparable with, beating them in bass presence and impact easily, and not being too far behind in detail retrieval either. There's a good soundstage if you position them (assuming you buy 2) properly as per the instructions. It feels as if you're right in front of the stage where the band is playing. but even if you don't position very well, the sound quality doesn't diminish too much, other than the soundstage becoming worse. They're very easy to connect to any audio device or TV/Laptop, but you'll have to get a 6.3 mm mono splitter cable like the UGREEN 3.5mm 1/8 Stereo TRS to 2 X 6.3mm 1/4" TS Mono Y Cable Splitter Cord to connect your laptop/TV's 3.5 mm out port to the speakers. They only come with a power cable. I also had to get a 6.3 mm cable extender since the ugreen cable is very short from the split end. If you have a receiver or a dedicated DAC, then you need to connect mono L/R output from the analog "unamplified" output ports as these have their own built in amplifier.

Please see the attached video. Experts may comment regarding the problem. The input sensitivity setting is set to -10dBV (low) normal and sample is fed from both multiple mobiles and laptops for the test. I'll write a detailed review focusing more over the audio quality, but I am facing an issue, which is that a loud impulse sound such as the sound of a drum or blast turns off or rather clips the speaker, please see the video. Now that the return window is closed, what can be done regarding the warranty. The delivery from Amazon was timely and the behaviour of the delivery agent was good, but the handling of the speakers was very bad. There was no external carton and one of the speaker boxes had a huge hole, luckily the speaker driver was not harmed.

This is the replacement item that i ordered because of the same defect. This defect has persisted in the replacement item. It's a great inconvenience and most disappointing to see the same defect repeated in "professional" equipment from a reputed brand. To make matters worst i had also purchased a stand for this equipment which will be a waste of money for me. MOST DISAPPOINTED IN JBL. If posiible i would give a negative rating.

Worth the money! Being a veteran Yamaha HS8 user, I really loved the power and punch these speakers come with. It's not as flat as high quality monitors, but I feel that's a okay for low budget. Been using since last 6 months and it's holding up well for mixing & music production. Regular music and movie experience is amazing! It does struggle if you max out the output level, but decent for a 10' x 10' room.
