It is sturdy, really holds my iPad in place, the key board is solid and easy to type on and I surprisingly love the color (rose gold)... I didn’t realize it was two pieces, the last one I had just covered one side of the iPad so that was also a plus. The lighted keyboard is great especially because it has all the different colors. I was worried about having to put it out of the case when I didn’t need the keyboard but it actually wasn’t as hard as I thought. I did have trouble when I first got it as it was typing really weird so I contacted amazon and they helped me getting it to work again, turns out I had pressed the world button on the keyboard so the keyboard wasn’t typing correct.
