Most reliable and simple to use
These are not the cheapest but most reliable imo and come with a back box. They stick out a lot but are quite good looking. Being analogue you don’t have to do any programming. So anyone can use them.

Product not working
I bought this product, the "24 Hour Socket Box Mounted Timer IMM24", to substitute one of the existing timers that I have to control the heating of my house. This product seems counterfait, as the dial control has a much lower quality, it's hard to see the time marks. The timer is not working at all, the dial does not rotate automatically.

Used for outdoor Christmas lights.hopefully will last longer than the one this timer replaced ; it quit working after a fortnight

The IMM24 is an exact replacement for my previous 24 hour box mounted timer. My previous IMM24 had been in use for over 20 years and succumbed to wear and tear. Works very well, but maybe a bit fragile with constant use.
