Protected to IP54 specifications. Beam has vernier scale to double check reading. Can be used to check some disc measurements. Other features include thumb lock and RS 232 capability. Includes wooden case.

You can also use it to measure rotors and others things you would use a regular caliper for. Just make sure you read the directions and have it on the right setting our you could miss measure your drums. Also the cheapest around and fowler is known to be quality.
