Buy CRC Standard Mathematical Tables and Formulas (Advances in Applied Mathematics) on desertcart.com ✓ FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders Review: A much-needed reference for MANY mathematical equations and relations! - I got this as it is always good to have a superior reference on various equations, mathematical relationships and more! CRC Handbooks in University were invaluable for referring to many related topics. This one caught my eye as I often find myself needing to dig a bit deeper for certain specific applications, such as optics equations, or other applications in RF problems needing to be solved. This book has a LOT of excellent reference tables, relationships, derivations, and more. Covers a LOT of good higher end mathematics. Should have something for most folks looking for a good handy reference on these and more. Recommended highly and exceptional value having an almost "all-in-one" book on these topics! Thanks! Review: If you have an old CRC Standard Math Tables, consider the new Standard Math Tables and Formulas - I had been using an old version of CRC Standard Math Tables since college. I still use a few things, like the integral tables, Runge-Kutta, and some analytical geometry. But, I never considered a new version, because many of the tabular values in the old book are now library functions in modern computer programs. But recently, a friend at work suggested I check out the new version. I did. In fact it is very different. It covers many more things than the older versions. I won't list them all here (you can look at the description yourself). But, it is great to have all of this useful information in one volume. Even things the new book has in common with the old are much improved: the table of integrals is much better than before, much better than I ever find when I do an internet search.

This version is superior to previous editions
This version is superior to the two previous editions in presentation of materials and ease of use. The previous editions were very good; I gave my copies to young friends. This one replaced them. I use this book along with a CAS graphing calculator for personal and professional use.

A nust have for all engineering students
I have an older edition and bought this for my son in engineering school. This is a must have. It has hundreds of trig identities, sums of series, etc. I thought for sure it wouldn't be around any more but it is.

amazingly thorough
far more than i would ever use but handy when i need to check on something that i've long forgotten.

A rich resource to all engineers and scientists
Whether you are a practicing engineer or you are about to start your undergraduate engineering curriculum, this book will be among your best friends, together with the famous Bronshtein: Handbook of Mathematics. I should have bought this decades ago.

Incluant quelques formules de d'autres disciplines scientifiques, dont la physique. C'est très apprécié.

All formulae, tables and examples in this book are concisely defined in layman's terms, and are easy to navigate when digital source materials/references are unavailable. This book is particularly useful when cross-referencing basic outputs for code in R, python, mathematica or matlab. An essential book for anyone involved in data science, statistics and quantitative analysis. The hardcover version is thick and sturdy at 858 pages, and doubles as a useful paper weight or desk riser. 5/5.
