Its thick actually a little too thick but that's a good thing. It's super long and lovely curl pattern. Quality lace and soft hair. There's adjustable straps on the cap which is by the way quite comfortable. The only negatives I have are the placement of the clips around the temple\ear area is off a bit and ends up keeping the unit from laying quite right against your head around your ears.
