Does tgis come with a warranty?

You will have a two year manufacturers guarantee with Tefal, However you will need to keep your proof of purchase as this will validate your guarantee.

I note there are 3 steam options. I can switch between the steam and off options but the switch doesn't stay on the boost option. Is my iron faulty?

For "Steam On" the switch clicks to the left, for "Steam Off" it clicks to the right. For Boost Steam (Turbo) it's a trigger underneath that releases when you let it go. I hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me how theirs came packaged in the box please.

The box had been repaired where it had torn across the front. It did not contain polystyrene over the top of the iron nor a measuring jug (not sure if there should have been one). There was no protective film over the sole plate and there were finger marks. It must have been a returned item . How does Amazon decide which returned items may be sent to someone else?

How can Amazon sell this so much cheaper than any where else is a second or customers returns??

Bear in mind may not be relevant to all cases. But I have ordered first one - arrived without any additional package. Anyone could open the box. Iron had signs of usage, protective foam chipped, no plastic bag inside, two guarantee cards inside - all the things you would expect to be in place when you buy a new product off the shelf. Requested replacement, it came two days later - exactly same thing. Presumably these are the originally "faulty" ones that are being fixed (hence why £10 cheaper) and sold as a brand new.
