The scales are made in China. They are very good and excellent value for money.

Are there four rubber feet or only two

There are FOUR circular, rubber feet on the one I received.

do the Accuweight Kitchen Scales sold at 9.59 come with a battery?

Mine came with 2 AAA batteries wrapped seperatly in the box.

Is this splash proof?

The top certainly is as its made of glass. I'd say rest of it is but would be careful round the buttons. I've used it with wet hands and it's still working
