Review: WOW! THIS AMAZING PRODUCT REALLY WORKS. - My Helmix 2.0 Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle arrived this afternoon and I was anxious to give it a try. Here is my first experimental recipe: * Dairy Milk (filled to desired level) * 1/4 cup strawberry yogurt * 1 scoop strawberry Orgain Plant Based Protein Powder * 1 scoop vanilla Orgain Grass Fed Whey Powder * 1/4 cup organic raw instant oatmeal (This can also be in powdered form) * 1 tsp almond powder * 1 tsp pumpkin seed powder * 1 tsp vanilla powder * 1 TBS raw unfiltered honey After shaking the contents in the Helmix Vortex Blender Shaker for less than 10 seconds everything blended together perfectly. There were no lumps or clumps. And, the smoothie was delicious. I chose the larger bottle size because this allows for more open inner space for shaking and complete blending of the ingredients. I will continue to use this amazing Helmix Vortex Shaker whenever I need a quick pick-me-up smoothie that requires ingredients that consists of only liquids and powders. The clean up was fast and easy. However, this should be done according to the directions. If you are using ingredients that contain oils, (e.g. chia seeds, flax seeds, peanut butter) it would be helpful with clean up procedures to wash the vortex bottle right after using. This is because the dried oils will harden in the vortex creases, making the cup harder to clean. The snap lid that covers the drinking spout fits tightly so that it doesn't prop open while shaking. However, because I'm 87 years old I found it somewhat difficult to open but still doable. People who have arthritis in their hands might find this maneuver unmanageable. I found the Helmix Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle to be very sturdy and nothing leaked whatsoever. And, the design is beautiful. Overall, I consider the Helmix 2.0 Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle to be an amazing product of science technology. So, I will give this vortex shaker 5 super big stars with happy faces. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
Review: Update after contacting support. - Update: I want to start off this review by telling Dody at Helimix how much I appreciate their promptness and the level of service that they provided. I contacted Helimix Support via their website and got quite possibly one of the fastest responses I have ever received from a company about anything. After sending my email in through their website at 7:07am they had responded to me (a real person not automated) by 7:23am with what information they needed to begin to process a replacement for me. I was blown away with how quickly they responded to me since it seems most companies have a standard 2 to 3 business day time frame on non-automated support. I sent in the requested information and they replied same day that they would get it shipped out that week. I can't overstate how amazed I was to contact support, get a reply and resolution all in the same day. That kind of customer service is hard to come by over email anymore. As promised they had my replacement shipped out 2 days from initial contact and I had it in my mailbox exactly 1 week after initial contact. Now that I got the amazing experience I had with their support out of the way, for the bottle itself. There was definitely an issue with my previous one because this one has been nice and watertight since receiving it. I've been using it for the past two weeks since getting it and have not had the same issue. Bottle is great at getting everything nice and mixed. I love being able to get the same if not better performance as other bottle brands without extra parts to achieve the results. They've got me hooked and I will definitely be recommending their product to others. (Original Review retained for completeness) I dunno if mine just doesn't sit right but it's not leak-proof. It's not a horrible leak but the whenever I'm shaking up anything inside it I will get splashed with little bits of liquid. There isn't any type of rubber gasket between the lid and cup so I'm not sure if this is why it leaks ever so slightly. None the less it's no fun getting sprayed by my drink when trying to mix it and it really sucks because otherwise the bottle is perfect. No clumping, mix is nice and uniform with very little to no product settled on the bottom.

**Q: I see it says made in the usa, but is the plastic made in the usa? or from overseas??**
A: Thank you for asking. The materials used to make Helimix are made entirely in USA. Made in Tennessee and Texas to be exact. 100% American.

**Q: Can I put this under my kuerig and use for coffee protein powder mixing?? Will coffee melt plastic?**
A: No, it is not advised to subject most plastics to the190° water like the Kuerig type of coffee makers will produce. Lexan is a very durable odor and stain resistant plastic. However heat and plastics don't mix well. Plastics will break down too easly under heat. Also, the top of the mixer is not made of Lexan, therefore more heat susceptible to  distortion , warping and plastic breakdown.

**Q: Is there a 32oz available???**
A: Not currently but we look forward to launching one in the future.

**Q: can i pour coffee into this?**
A: We do not recommend shaking hot beverages in a helimix because if something were to go wrong we wouldn’t want to be responsible for you getting burned. However the material that helimix is made of shouldn’t melt if you use the base of the cup for sipping coffee.

My Helmix 2.0 Vortex Blender Shaker Bottle arrived this afternoon and I was anxious to give it a try. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good shaker bottle

I used to use BlenderBottle sports, but they changed the spout closure so I went looking for a different bottle. This one is awesome for my purposes. I used it to mix up creatine powder and a fiber supplement in orange juice and water. I haven't had issues getting my stuff to mix in any shaker bottle, but this bottle mixes it well without the need for a spring mixer ball. I like that it's made of a sturdy material. The spout closure snaps securely into place (and you can hear/feel it snap). My only small complaint is that it doesn't fit easily into a drink sleeve in my shoulder bag, but you can't have it all. It's also a bit expensive compared to other models out there, but you do get a better quality product for the extra cost.
