Great set of quality stainless bar pieces- love how easy it is to cap the shaker
When I ordered this, I also ordered some Barfly bar tools. (I'm setting up a home bar.) I ended up with 2 shakers, but decided to keep this one- here's why. Compared to the Barfly shaker, this one is much easier to cap and uncap. It is a bit thinner, and the edges a bit sharper, which was the downsides to this one in comparison, but this one was just very easy and intuitive to use. I don't have to fiddle with the cap to get it on, but it caps well with no leaking. Outside, they both had the same finish. The Barfly was a bit shorter and broader, so it might not be as easy to tip over, but I don't like having to fiddle to get a cap on, so I went with this one for my bar.The muddler is 2 sided, long, and quite nice, with a smooth end for crushing and smearing, and a end with some tread for bruising and smushing- and the pouring spouts were a very nice bonus. With this set and the addition of a strainer, my basics are all covered. The jigger is nice too- it has the amounts marked.These are classy and made of good materials.
