The oil in the impeller area had water in it. Is that why it quit running? I do not see that the oil is a maintained item.

The impeller seized up after running for 3 years 24/7. They can be rebuilt for half the cost.

We have the 1/3 hp norus. shallow pond so we have to lay it on its side. is that ok. the bearing design would suggest not a good idea. comment?

im looking to get 12 pumps, but they are for a business so they will be on almost 24/7...will these hold up to that?

We use the exact same pump in one of our ponds. It's been on 24/7 for almost a year without issue. Life expectancy is about 4 years running 24/7
