Lovely and gllittery
Fantastic, did what it said on packet. Mixed in paint easily. I used a pale silver/grey paint. Looks fab

Brilliant product!
Added this to paint, left wall lovely and glittery, easier to use using a brush than a roller, good value for money and left with a great effect, although you do need quite a lot, depending what you are looking for, I used nearly 2 packets for 2.5L of paint. Would buy again.

Great glitter.
I want to give five stars as the product is amazing visually but also I want to advise on paint suitability. I used this turquoise glitter alongside B&Q's Colours Durable range specifically 'Slate Grey' for my boys space themed bedroom. It is mentioned that buffing by use of a green scourer is required to expose and get the maximum effect from the glitter. This is a perfectly reasonable process if done correctly but as I've used a durable finish paint it's an impossible process to carry out as the finish is so hard the scourer doesn't touch it. I now have a childs bedroom that's supposed to be sparkling but isn't, I'll resolve this issue by sourcing a glitter glaze product. As I've said before this isn't a seller/product issue, this is my fault for not testing the product prior to coating all four walls. I am 100% confident that if I'd used a standard emulsion it would've looked amazing and I'd be giving it five stars.

Glitter for painting
I tried to get glitter paint from B&Q but they no longer sell it. This is perfect, used two packs in 2l tin (which is half the recommended amount) but it’s amazing, looks beautiful. Catches the light and glistening but not too much

Amazing! Great with a dark paint
First of all, I NEVER review things, but I have been so impressed with this product and I was dubious because of the mixed reviews I read on here, so I felt compelled to give my opinion! I was re-painting my daughter's bedroom from bright yellow to midnight blue - glittery. I did x2 coats of the blue (without glitter (wilko paint)) first to get a good, even coverage considering it was a drastic change of colour. I added 1 & 1/2 pouches of glitter to 1.5ltr of the paint and stirred well with a brush. I applied the glitter paint with a roller, it was easy to apply and gave an even finish. I could see the glitter pretty much straight away. I left it to dry & wow, it's beautiful! As I used more glitter than recommended, it is a very heavy glittered area, but against the midnight blue, it is spectacular! My daughter is really chuffed as it's exactly what she wanted and reminds her of a very starry night. I tried using the scour pad on an inconspicuous area as I didn't think it was necessary to use but wanted to try it in case I was missing a trick! To be honest, I wish I hadn't used the scourer, it made the wall look patchy. I ended up re-painting that section, but even now I can see where I rubbed it. Fortunately shelves will be covering that bit soon. In short, this product far exceeded my expectations and worked brilliantly as a contrast against a dark wall. I've tried to photo it, but it just doesn't capture well, or do it justice! It catches the light wonderfully but is still visible in low/natural light. My only drawback with it (which I hadn't considered), it that the wall is now a rough texture. Not a big deal and common sense should have prevailed on this, but that is my only negative.

not to expect a dazzling glitter finish
I bought this after reading rave reviews. I have to say I think some of the reviews are fake. I am an experienced decorator and do everything as per the book so to speak. I wanted to create a subtle glimmer in the alcove wall of my bedroom where the bed goes and has spotlights (I thought that these would enhance the glitter but they do not). I didn't want to re-paper again as its expensive and time consuming so thought I would just paint over and use this stuff. All I can say is that it is actually a lot of money for the effect it achieves. Firstly you will only notice this when a light or the sun is on it and even then it is hard to see at all. During normal daylight you wont notice it at all. I painted my wallpaper with three coats of white to make sure there were not patches. I then purchased a cheap thin emulsion to mix this with so that it would show up more. The first coat was actually not too bad but still not what i would say noticeable. I then purchased a second packet and went over it again, sadly all this has done is actually cover up the first coat so now I cant see anything at all. £16.00 is actually a lot of money for something that has no effect all. I wish really I had just invested £30.00 on a roll of proper glitter paper. Bear in mind also one packet only mixes to 1 litre of pain which is hardly anything at all. Therefore a full room would cost about £60 £70.00 without the paint. When mixing I would say add the paint to a small amount of emulsion at a time. if you pour it on the top of a litre of paint it will only mix to the top of the paint and not the bottom. Personally not impressed at all. Invest in a proper paper which is probably what I am going to have to do anyway now. Not worth the money at all.

Gern wieder
