I used a razor and cut an opening the length of the protector strip. It worked, but a wider channel for the cord would make the product perfect! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unusual Use *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2020* An Unusual UseI used the product in a way that it probably was not intended to be used, but so fat it’s working. I’m having to make some adjustments with it but hopefully it will be ok.We have a very wide gate to our fence and recently had it done electronically. As a result, there’s a raised metal piece on the ground across the area. I’m trying to cover that piece ( which is about 22’ long) with the rubberized material that we purchased to keep from tripping over the metal piece.
