Is this normal? We didn't have this problem before...** A: Your water heater was drained off water or you have air in the pipe. Please follow water hammer removal procedure and then try. More details are needed for a better detailed solution. **Q: Is the diverter removable without breaking plastic clips as it appears to snap in even with Allen head loosened?** A: Yes. I was able to remove mine and re- clock it. Don’t go prying on anything and make sure tha Allen screw is far enough out. (Any doubts about the screw….
