You cannot make this paper waterproof. any spray lacquer or fixative will not prevent water ingress in case of exposure. This product is for dry use only.

Could i use this for printing invitations and place settings?

I wouldn’t think this would be thick enough personally I would use maybe 250-300 gsm only my opinion

Can this paper be folded easily and neatly?

Sorry can't answer this as I have not tried to fold it but looking at it, it should be possible. The print quality with a basic inkjet printer seems decent on the flyers I have produced with it.
