Sharp
Classic Victorinox quality. The blade is very sharp right out of the box and the build feels solid and durable. The Alox handle looks great and provides a good grip. Compact, practical, and perfect for everyday carry. Definitely a reliable Swiss Army knife and worth the price.

Great minimalist tool. Well made.
Love these, bought one each for my sons for get home bags. The awl works great as a firesteel scraper.

Great Robust EDC That Echoes a Bit of Military History
I bought this model for a couple of reasons. First, it was the civilian equivalent to the formerly issued Swiss Soldier's knife and I am fascinated by military knives. I have a few US "Demo" Utility knives in my collection and this is a Swiss version of that, especially with the tool set that was popular in the military for many decades. Secondly, I had already purchased the SAK Bantam with the alox scales, and I liked the idea of having another knife in this robust version. The tools and blade, as others have observed, seem more heavy duty. The awl is sharp and has the advantage of being inline vs. from the center of the scales. Overall, it is a simple knife for EDC. I might eventually work up to the Pioneer X for the sake of the scissors, but I also carry multiple knives for EDC, and one that almost always goes with me is the Rambler, a SAK that clearly sits as the top of Victorinox's. It has a pair of small scissors which usually is enough for me on a regular, every day basis. Overall a great knife with Victorinox's well-known quality.

SAK you can trust
I somehow managed to acquire this knife for a mere $22, and it’s an excellent deal. While it may not be the most versatile SAK available, it will certainly suffice for most tasks.

SAK (swiss army knife) perfection!
In my opinion this is the perfect EDC pocket knife. If your an outdoors person you may want to step up to the farmer (all the same tools and the addition of a very aggressive wood saw). Blade is Razor sharp right out of the box. This version has the best reamer on a SAK. The reamer is great for striking a ferro rod!

This is a great multi-tool. Slightly too big I think for most people to have on their key ring but works well for me as I have it in my camera bag. There are 8 tools here which should be plenty for most people who are after a small option.

This is the sturdier version of the classic red handle Victorinox Swiss Army Knife most people know about. In term of function compare to the classic 91mm standard medium size knifes lineup, this one is closer to the popular 2-layers model, Spartan, although Spartan does come with small blade, corkscrew, and scale tools (toothpick and tweezers). I was originally planned to get the Spartan (and later returned it) due to lower price and more functions packed for similar size, but soon with some research I found out the "dirty secret", for non-disclosed reason, the cellidor scale have been changed to a "hollow" design compare to the solid one (which I borrowed from my dad in my childhood, made in the 1980s which built and last like a tank), and will crack easily if dropped to concrete ground. Although replacement scales are available for celidor, they cost like around 10 quids in UK a set which is more than half the price of a Spartan when it is on discount, adding up the cost of a spare set of scales would jack up the price equivalent to a Pioneer, I'd take Pioneer which may outlast myself. The knife build quality is the typical Swiss made you'd expect, with no observable defects to my eyes. The main blade, as mentioned by others, is considerably thicker (91mm models measured at 1.9mm vs 93mm Pioneer at 2.6mm), the can opener and bottle opener are also slightly thicker, but the star of the show is the reamer, which is located at the corner of the knife instead of the middle and unfold like a screwdriver, making it much more versatile than its 91mm equivalent. Combined with a 58mm classic, i have pretty much the same function sets as a Spartan (except for the corkscrew, which is exclusive to celidor models, but that was a minor issue to a non-drinker like myself). All in all, if you want to have a backup tool in your backpack for rainy days, without having to baby sit it (or buy a pouch for it) like its celidor cousins, this is THE tool for you. As a side note, if you prioritize portability, a 84mm model, namely Cadet, is just about as good, in a smaller package, offering similar functions, the only difference is the reamer is replaced with a nail filer, if you don't need reamer, that is another great choice in my opinion.
