good bass and stereo separation. A large box for the money. good remote with proper buttons. Good tone controls but a bit oversold to call it an equalizer - its bass and treble with a loudness switch. Good value when compared to some Roberts radios.

For a machine of this decent size the sound could be better, crisper. But my main complain is that in switching from the internet (or the set up) mode to DAB the sound is lost – the display shows all the normal information for the station selected, but no sound is emitted. The only solution is to turn off at the mains and start again which also means waiting for the machine to get ready. As I switch between DAB and internet almost daily, this routine is annoying. There is no software update available according to the device itself. It is surprising and disappointing that a global company produces and sells a product with such a basic fault.

Good value for money. Nice and simply elegant design with good finishing. Sound is average. Connection to bluetooth and wifi are smooth.

First off, it is BIG. I mean, what a whopper! I usually don't mind things being bigger, but this, nah, too big. Setting up is a faff, but once done it is easy enough. The audio quality leaves us a little wanting, the bass is okay if you set the EQ to Rock, but I have heard better. This thing will end up in the summer house and we'll get something better as this isn't quite what we'd hoped for.

We ordered this radio to play our favourite South American Internet radio station. It worked nicely until Sharp changed servers around 2 years ago. Since, even trying hard with the new provider, we lost the ability to connect, leaving us very frustrated. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Unfortunately there is no app to save radio stations from Internet.

Bought the item because it seemed all singing and dancing for the money. Beyond disappointed as the sound quality is very tinny not helped by the fact only 1 speaker was working, attempted to send it back but the return costs were extortionate and it was because if this I was allowed to keep with a full refund. Yet to get speaker fixed

Au bout de 3 ans la fonction streaming via DLNA et Upnp ( ainsi que la météo) a disparu suite à une Mise à jour du firmware sans information préalable suite au passage de la gestion des radios web de MediaU à Airable depuis févier 2025. C'est inacceptable !

La usamos en la cocina, ya que allí no tenemos televisión y siempre hemos sido más de radio cuando cocinamos. Que puedas conectarla a internet y elegir cualquier emisora del mundo como quien elije en el dial las emisoras locales de toda la vida, me parece poco menos que fascinante. Hay emisoras que conocimos en nuestros viajes al extranjero que podemos retomar y volver a escuchar a diario, de cualquier tema, de cualquier país, increíble. Además la calidad es exquisita, y poder conectar el móvil por blutooth y poder escuchar podcast con sus altavoces, es genial. Volvería a comprar sin duda.

Lo he comprado como despertador. Mi antigua radio sony no funcionaba bien. Esta radio tiene como punto negativo lo voluminosa que es. Majority pembroke hace una igual pero la mitad de dimensiones. Los menus y todo son iguales. Esta no tiene usb ni mediacenter con upnp. Por lo demas la FM funciona mejor sobretodo en sitios con poca cobertura de FM. El aparato es fácil de usar. La radio por internet es rápida. Solo tiene wifi de 2.4ghz y tiene wps para que no tengas que escribir contraseñas. Tiene w alarmas que funcionan muy bien. Se pueden configurar por dias y estar activadas las dos. El reloj las irá activando automáticamente. Tiene todas las funciones de un despertador. Spotify se controla desde el móvil o la smart tv y se le adjudica una playlist o radio para reproducir. Cada vez que accedas seguira reproduciendo la cancion que dejastes a medias y seguira con la playlist marcada sonando canciones. La pantalla se ajusta muy bien tiene dimmer para ajustar un modo eco o modo noche y que no te desvele. La pantalla tiene mucha definicion. Incluye un centro de información con bolsa y el tiempo, que es bastante util. Puedes poner un reloj digital o analogico y combinarlo con el tiempo. Buena idea porque cada cierto tiempo cambia de pantalla y asi no se quema la pantalla tft con la misma info, se elimina el efecto memoria. Asi se que tiempo hace y que ropa ponerme. Da la prevision del tiempo hora a hora solo moviendo las flechas del mando asi que superfácil. El sonido es muy bueno y profundo. Tiene muchos ecualizadores prefijados y uno personal que permite poner un refuerzo de graves (loudness), y ajustar agudos y graves. El bluetoth esta muy bien. El diseño es bonito, en general. La radio por internet esta bien cuenta con miles de radios. Puedes crear tu lista de favoritos fácilmente. Puedes configurar el aparato para que la radionse encienda con determinada emisora. Como despertador tiene todas las funciones. Cuenta con dos alarmas que pueden tocar uns melodia o la dab o la fm o una emisora de internet. Las alarmas son configurables para todos los dias, una vez o seleccionar los dias de la semana que se desee.

Ich suchte ein modernes Radio mit klassischem Look und Weckfunktion für’s Schlafzimmer und bin im dritten Anlauf endlich zufrieden. Das Sharp ist ein tolles Gerät zu einem wirklich fairen Preis. Es sieht super aus, ließ sich einfach einrichten und die Fernbedienung erleichtert die Handhabung. Das Gerät wirkt mit seinem Holzgehäuse und der Metallfront sehr wertig, es macht Spaß, den Dreh-Drückschalter auf der Oberseite zu verwenden und das dimmbare Display lässt sich sehr gut ablesen. Aber das Wichtigste: Für meine Begriffe klingt das Radio hervorragend, sei es im DAB- oder Internetradiomodus (FM habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert) oder beim Abspielen von Liedern über Bluetooth. Der Equalizer stellt verschiedene voreingestellte Modi zur Verfügung (z.B. Klassik, Rock, Pop, Nachrichten), die das Klangbild wirklich hörbar verändern (da habe ich schon andere Radios erlebt), oder man kann seine bevorzugte Einstellung selbst wählen (Höhen, Tiefen, Loudness an/aus). Es kann Musik auch relativ laut abspielen, ohne schlecht zu klingen - jedenfalls viel lauter, als ich es je benötigen werde. Und hier kommt auch ein anderer Vorteil zum Tragen, gerade, wenn man das Radio in leisen Umgebungen benutzen will: man hört keine Nebengeräusche. Das war übrigens der Grund, warum ich die beiden anderen (zum Teil deutlich teureren) Radios anderer Hersteller, für die ich mich zuvor entschied, zurückgeschickt habe, da mich dort immer leichte, aber deutlich vernehmbare Grund- bzw. Nebengeräusche störten. Ich kann das Sharp nach alledem nur empfehlen.
