Is this sweet and is the ginger taste prominent? I want to use this in as part of a savory sparkling wine cocktail.

It's too sweet straight up for me. Had to dilute it. I much prefer and recommend Ginger Gizer. Good luck with your wine cocktails.

What's the sugar content ?

Ingredients are: Filtered water, honey, ginger juice, lemon juice, turmeric juice, and black pepper for 30 g of sugar.

Is this item eligible for return

I don't believe so because it is considered a food product. But I have asked Amazon for refunds on some food products and they don't let me return it but they did refund my money. Try, all they can say is no.

The ingredients don't mention sugar, so what does it mean "added sugar?"

The sweetness comes from honey.

great taste , perfect size

This gingerade is by far the tastiest of all that I've tried .The ginger taste is just right , not too strong , and accentuated by the honey & lemon flavors . Four ingredients : ginger , honey , lemon, water. Zero added chemicals . Great stuff !

Great For Tummy Upsets!

I found this originally at BevMo and bought it to try for tummy problems. I have IBS and other issues. I didn't expect it to taste so good! I add one package of Splenda, which really brings out the ginger flavor. It's great hot or iced. I wish it didn't have calories! Hey Ginger People, how about a lite version? I appreciate not having to go out to BevMo (which isn't on my beaten path). Thanks for the Free SuperSaver Shipping Amazon! The only problem is I had to find a place to store the 12 bottles. But they don't stay stored for long! This is an update for my previously 5 star review. Several months ago, I realized the drink tasted different, with a stronger ginger flavor, which is too strong for me. I confirmed that the formula had been changed by writing to The Ginger People, who told me that the formula was revised to provide more benefits from the ginger, and suggested diluting the drink with water to make the flavor more palatable to me. I do this, as well as add two additional Splendas, and it is better, but not as good as it used to be. A benefit of diluting the drink is I am lowering the calorie count a little. But I no longer drink this as just a thirst quenching, cold, non-carbonated beverage, but only when I need it for an upset stomach. So I'm knocking off one star for taste. It's just not as tasty as it used to be.

Milder way to get your ginger in

I first ran into Ginger People up close on a trip to the middle east. I saw ginger shots in a grocery store. And they had Sidr honey in them. I liked them so much that I got this product. It's not nearly as strong as the ginger shots, but a lighter way to get your ginger into yourself. I am honestly not a big ginger person. But this ginger soother is easy to drink, especially if you don't feel well. I am using it as an addition to my other wellnees items to get me through cold season.
