With illustrations throughout, this book is perfect for middle grade readers and is sure to become a fun favorite on any kidโs bookshelf. Review: Warm, laugh out loud, book. Read it! - I read a review online, and had to order a copy. I was not disappointed. Some sections are laugh out loud funny, and the story itself has a very positive message. My kids love the book, and I got a second copy for a family member to share with her kids too. It is short enough that you can read it in one sitting, but could also be spaced out over a few bedtimes. Review: Great book for early readers to be read to. - Nice made books. A picture on every page keeps little ones engaged. My guys love the story! Gross fact in book I did not know. It made me google after reading. That doesn't-happen much in kids books. This book had my kids laughing and discussing after. What more can you ask for. Read to 6 year old boys.

A Sweet and funny book
Great kids book to read to children ages 3-8. They will be cracking up at the poo part which yes anytime anyone talks about eating poo itโs disgusting but unfortunately there are animals that do it. The book addresses this issue but in a light hearted matter and addresses that it should not be practiced.

The Perfect Book
Finally a book I could read a million times to my kid and still love it. Excellent storytelling and characters. I've bought all the Rabbit and Bear books and have high expectations for all other kids authors.

Great fun for the grandkids!
I ordered this book for my two grandchildren, age 5 and 3, prior to their recent extended visit. Their mother is a children's book author herself, and it's a challenge to find a book these children don't already own or haven't borrowed from the library. I was pretty sure this first Rabbit & Bear book, Rabbit's Bad Habits, would be new to them, and I'm happy to report that it was a huge hit with both my grandson and granddaughter, evoking rapt attention and howls of laughter even after many readings. We're all looking forward to a sequel!

A cute story that's not quite perfect.
I read about this book somewhere online and became quite determined to track down a copy. I intended to pass it on to a friend with a 4-year-old grandson, but after reading it (okay, after reading it aloud to my 17-year-old son and my husband - yes, we're a weird family), I'm still not sure it's the kind of book someone might appreciate as a gift. The story is quite touching, and it is told with considerable humor. The author wrote it with input from his young daughter, and part of the hype is that the two of them were determined to make a more realistic kid's story (given that this is about a talking bear and rabbit who end up friends). The topic of poop, however, is discussed at length, and I wasn't convinced that its presence really added anything to the story. So . . . for the time being, I'm not going to pass the book on, but I'll probably add it to the kids' books I'm keeping for my own grandchildren down the road.

Our favorite "long story" books so far
We love this series in my household. There are one or two words we don't use in my household for our kids' age level of which I can not recall off the top of my head, but it is not something that has stopped us from enjoying these stories. Highly entertaining and a great intro into longer books for young kids.

Me ecanta
Lo he comprado para un Nino de 4 aรฑos.mi hijo de 4 aรฑos ya tiene toda la serie y nos encanta a los dos. A veces yo me rรญo mรกs que mi hijo porque el todavรญa no entiende todos los chistes. Estรก muy bien escrito y siempre tiene una informaciรณn importante al final sobre la vida/amistades etc.

Love the book
My kid loved the story and so did I, this was a good start for him to start chapter books and really kept him engaged. The story is very funny and witty.. After he finished this we have already got other two books in the series and started reading the second one Pest in the Nest.
