It did a great job protecting my winch for about 2 years. In the AZ sun, it really did well but after about 2 years it wore thin and began to tear at the top. I want to give credit for the years of service it provided but it will eventually get week over time - which is to be expected if it is out in the elements. But the length of the cover is JUST BARELY long enough to cover a 9,500lb Rough Country winch. Throw the control box on top of the winch, and it looks awkward sitting on the winch and STRETCHED over the ends of the motor and gearbox.
