The stand does not come with a cord. **Q: Is it sturdy? I have cats who will most likely run there face against it. Will it stay in there or will it fall off?** A: It will fall off. It is a light plastic gadget. **Q: Does this stand stay up well or does it easily fall over?** A: It stands up ok as long as you don't bump it firmly to knock it off balance. If the cord gets pulled it may fall over too.
