I recently purchased the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX* Dust Extractor (DCV585B), and it has been a game-changer for my worksite dust management. Great vacuum, works just fine for me. Relatively quiet and b.t. remote is very handy. Don't listen to reviews about replacement bags being hard to get, I've got paper and fleece ones with no problem. DCV9400, DCV9401 and DCV9402 are plastic, paper and fleece in that order. With intermittent use and a 9a.h. battery, I can work til lunch then put in a fresh 9a.h. battery to go the rest of the day.

I also have the 20V dewalt cordless vacuum and this has much more suction. It's relatively quiet too. I really like the hose storage (wish it was on top but it works okay located on the bottom). It's a great size too. Big enough to hold a decent amount of dust but also easy to carry and transport. I'll be selling my 20V vac. Just wish Dewalt would create some basic shop vac attachments that worked with their locking coupler without an adapter.

So I’ve watched a ton of reviews on this and knew pretty much everything about it before buying it so I went ahead and made the purchase. To my surprise right off the bad I found a massive issue that is very annoying. As every review I saw talked about, this vacuum ensures that the filters don’t clog up by shaking them loose every 15 seconds or so. That all great and dandy but I didn’t know that when it did this it lost all suction at those times. It’s very annoying to me because I work with a lot of drywall and I have a special attachment that needs constant vacuum to stick to the wall and catch all the dust. Well unfortunately this product doesn’t now allow me to use my tools to their fullest potential and that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars. I wish there was a way to turn off the feature. Other than that it works great.

Works great with the cordless dewalt drywall sander

This vacuum comes with a white, fleece bag that is properly sized for the vacuum itself. It performs well and the size and shape makes sense for the vacuum. The suggested replacement fleece bags, DWV9402 *appear* to work and are made of the same material and have the same connection port, but they are comically oversized for this device and much more difficult to install and mate to the bag port. You have to fold the bag in on itself several times to make it fit. For what it's worth, the vacuum appears to work properly with the much larger DWV9402 bags, but it is a waste of material and they are, of course, more expensive. The bottom line is, there are not the right bags for this unit and as far as I can tell it is not possible to buy the properly sized bag that comes with the unit. As of April, 2020, the Dewalt product page on their website shows no bags under the accessories section of the product page for this vacuum.

Great vacuum once again dewalt got it right. I did find replace bags on Tool Barn. Sorry short review just think that this vacuum is totally awesome. Update sorry gave miss information replacement bags are at Tool Nut and they sell all different types of bags for this vacuum. So to people that give bad reviews please do your research before you give low marks.

I really like DeWalt Battery power products 60 Volt gives a really long run time and having the remote control is even better, works. It is big enough to have a good capacity, But not so big or heavy to move easily

Love this thing. The Bluetooth tech is awesome. Has good suction. I got the wheels for it and it makes it even better when working. I can stack other tool boxes on top of it with a lock. Wish it came with more bags since they are so expensive, but I will be reusing the one provided by emptying it out instead of throwing it away. I also like the added remote for tools that don't have Bluetooth. Makes life a little simpler and after 40 years in trades, I appreciate that.

Love it. My only knocks would be that it eats up batteries pretty quickly and the capacity is small.

I love that it’s cordless. It pairs really well with my cordless Dewalt drywall sander. It has enough power for the drywall sander, so I will assume it will be more than enough power for my 5” Dewalt orbital sander. I don’t find it to be effective for vacuuming messes on the floor. I’m going to dedicate this extractor to just collect power tool dust. I wish Dewalt outfitted all of it’s tools with the special exhaust port to facilitate a beautiful connection to the extractor. With a little refinement to their system, this would be a 5 star rating.
