Do you really have to leave it on for 7 min before applying other products?

Yes, you really should. Matter-of-fact, I leave it on to dry even longer. 10 minutes or more--when I'm not in a hurry. It seems to be a silicone-based moisturizer, so let it dry for a few minutes before you put on the night cream, or the day spf cream. I like the stuff. It moisturizes well. Yes, follow the directions.

I found this info on another website that sells Dr. Denese products: Ingredients: Dimethicone, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Ceramide II, Retinol, Tocopherol, Linoleic Acid, Linolenic Acid, Ethylhexyl Cocoate, Lecithin, Glycolipids, Phenoxyethanol.

I didn’t get any instructions other than what is on the box side. How much do I use? All over the face?

I use it all over my face except on my eyelids. I usually use one squirt. Leave it on your face for a few minutes and then massage it in. I use another moisturizer on top of it but it’s not necessary.

What percentage is the retinol?

That's proprietary. They're probably not going to divulge that information. It's probably not much. I use a prescription retinol cream, and it's only .025%. Yeah, that's not a typo: .025%. Tretinoin cream.
