Review: Excellent product and excellent customer service - We decided to order our Sunguard windshield covers because we stay in Florida for the winter months and our rv would get very warm in the afternoon, also wanted the privacy provided. We received our windshield covers quickly and were excited to do the install. We began by installing the main front windshield piece. Our main piece seemed to come up a little short and we could not stretch it to go below the main windshield rubber gasket so the lower snaps could not connect. A little disappointed at this point we continued with the side window covers, they installed easily and perfectly. We contacted the company with pictures and email and they responded quickly. We told them my covers were coming up 2 inches short, they immediately made us a new piece and sent it to us. We now have a perfectly fit windshield cover and it looks very attractive, we have had many compliments. Also, our rv is now much cooler and the privacy is amazing, we can see out but they can't see in!! Thank you Sunguard for being an upstanding company and standing behind your product, we will happily give your name to anyone that asks. Review: Good quality. Fairly easy to install. Will be much appreciated in the summer Arizona sun. - Upon ordering, I received an e-mail from the manufacturers to get my RV brand and model info. Package was received quickly and contained more than I expected -- 5 covers for all of my front windows. I ordered the twist locks which require drilling 2 holes per lock. The windshield and large side window needed 5 locks (at each corner and one in center on top) and the others 4 locks each (at each corner). It took me a Sunday afternoon to install, but I was taking my time and being careful about drilling the holes. I was a little apprehensive about drilling into my RV, but if you look at anything installed on the outside (awnings, etc.), they are all installed by holes in the RV. Just make sure you use the correct drill bit and seal them with good silicon seal. I would apply seal into the hole after I drilled it and on the back of the lock as I installed it. Make sure you use good sharp bits (go buy some good ones -- small price compared to the screen and the job will be easier). Also pay attention to their hole size recommendations when drilling into metal. This only happened to me when I installed the screen on the door, as this was the only metal I encountered (the rest was fiberglass -- which uses the smaller holes for the screws). I incorrectly used the smaller hole and broke off one of the screws when putting it in. The other screws in the door I used the larger hole for, and had no issues. They also give you a few extra locks and screws so you can replace them over time if needed (or if you mess up). This was very appreciated in my case since I did mess one up. I took the attached pictures the day after installing and the creases in the screens can still be seen, but as time has gone on, these creases have diminished. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and the quality. I think it will really be appreciated in my Arizona summers.

Best RV Windshield shade cover to keep out sun and heat, and still look great and allow you to see out.
I purchased these windshield covers because we boondock in wild country a lot, and need to keep the sun (and heat) out of the RV as much as possible. I was surprised at how well they fit, exactly the right shape and size for my Class A. Material is heavy duty and blocks 94% of light and heat, but allows us to see out in the daytime while no one can see in. You need to close your privacy shades at night but we do that in any case. I opted for the snap on mounting as I was dubious the Velcro would hold in the desert heat (as well as the patches are 2" sq) and the Zeus fasteners (twist locks for non aviation types) are a bit large, although hold better and would last longer. The 12 year warranty on the material is great and we love the look as well as the function. I built a car port for my Rv out of this same material and it still looks new after 3 years in the sun and wind, so I know it will hold up.

Good fit. Easy Installation.
Would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the side window fitment and maybe a few extra snaps on the front cover. The side windows need a little cut out around the mirrors.

Heavy duty sun protection
Sunguard is one of the best vendors I Had the pleasure to deal with. I exchanged multiple emails with Cindy, who was patient and very helpful. I also spoke with Craig to discuss installation and he too was very helpful and friendly and his advices were spot on. The shades (windshield, driver side and entrance door arrived timely and contained all the described parts, even the right size drill bit for snap locks. The quality of the hardware ( All stainless steel) and the shade is top notch and should last a long time. So far I only had time to install the side window and door, I need another pair of hands to do the large windshield on my class A diesel pusher. Craig told me to install one snap on top either left or right and pull as hard as I can to stretch the shade to remove the creases created during shipping. I tried to pull as hard as I could but being an old man on a ladder it wasn’t easy pulling a small corner of the shade. I did the best I could and I got it as tight as I could and hope that with time in the sun, the creases will smooth out. Anyway, these shades provide a welcome drop in temperature in the front of the coach and that’s what I wanted, so I am happy with the product and with the wonderful customer service I received from Sunguard.dd

Working with customer service was excellent. Ordered the screens but forgot to mention the clips I wanted. Sent second e-mail requesting twist lock and they responded quickly that it would be taken care of. Received screens fast and as ordered. Only negative would be the color of the bag for holding the screens while traveling. It is bright yellow. Not much of negative item but the only one I can come up with. Front screen, driver and passenger screens and the covers for the wipers. Install was easy and quick, I did need the assistance of my wife but they went up easy and look marvelous. And they work like described. Help keep the coach cool as noted on their site. And I like the fact that they were 1/3 of the price of some other brands.
