The leather seems to be of good quality and feels good in the hand. I'm not sure how it compares to the apple one since I don't own that but it was well worth what I paid for it. the bottom is open on the case, I'm pretty sure the apple one is too. The corners are still protected though. Edges of case sit slightly up above the screen but you'll probably want a screen protector anyway. The buttons don't line up with the actual buttons, causing the phone to try to emergency dial, power down, or activate Siri.I ordered this before the phone itself arrived - they must have designed it around an incorrect pre-release sample. ### ⭐ Not functional and poorly crafted *by B***N on January 15, 2018* This case looks amazing at s glance but it’s completely not functional. The case is smaller than the actual phone, it’s so small to the pint where the lock button is being pressed and the volume buttons also.
