I read all the reviews and the majority either said that is was perfect or that is was hard to assemble. I was not worried about the assembly because I will only have to assemble it one time. On top of that it was NOT hard to put together and the instructions were good enough since every part is installed very similarly if not exactly the same way. It arrived in a absolutely trashed box but despite that, there is no damage on the frame. The charcoal bed frame looks great and aesthetically I am happy. We have it on a wooded floor and the feet on the bed frame are a hard rubber so it slides a TON but that should be a simple fix. One thing to note is that you should get a box spring. Not because you need it but because of two reasons. 1. It fills in the gap that the tall legs for the headboard makes and looks nicer. (we have a 10in nectar mattress and we ordered a 7in box spring and it fills up the gap and looks great.My only real issue is that it is not sturdy or feel solid. My girlfriend and I weigh roughly a 300lbs combined. When we are moving back and forth on it in a motion that goes from headboard to footboard, the bed frame legs feel, sound and are actually moving from where they mount to the wooden parts of the frame. The two footboard legs are not tight to the board and can wobble with little to no effort even when it is screwed in as tight as possible without stripping the screw. The leg that screws into the headboard is also where the side rails mount to. So as you can imagine since the bed wobbles, the headboard tilts forward and backward and hits the wall over and over again. The wooden support beams that run across the frame to hold the mattress feel alright but since they are as thin as they are, when the bed moves and those legs attached to the support beams are not moving on the ground, the support beam flexes. Oh and one of the legs that goes on the support beams isn't long enough so it hits the floor every time we get on the bed..Conclusion: I am not going to send it back because that would be such a hassle from the disassembly, to the giant boxes needed for boxing back up and I'm not up for the challenge. Plus, we need something to sleep on cause I'm sick of the couch. I am going to get thicker stronger lumber to replace the support beams and legs on the beams. I am going look and see if there are any places to put brackets to reinforce the legs on the outside corners of the bed frame. I am also going to either get a rug or get stickier rubber feet to stop it from sliding.I hope this helped and I am more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding the bed frame. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Bed Frame With Minor Issues *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2019* I finally bought this bed frame after many an hour of amazon reviews.Positives: Great large size bed frame (Cal King) with good upholstery. The central slats have two legs that assist with providing support in the middle of the bed but I put down some plywood to sure up any spots that were less supported. If you put down a few more slats beyond what you get in the package (5 I think) you can probably get away without a foundation/box spring. After putting it together it's very sturdy. Assembly is easy and aside from needing a drill or screwdriver to put in the slats, all you need is an allen wrench that is provided in the package. I assembled it by myself in about an hour or so.Negatives: The Cal King size barely fits my mattress but that could also be an issues with my all foam mattress. If using a drill to put in the slats, you're pretty much going to tear up a little bit of the interior upholstery of the side frames since the drill head will be right up next to it. You won't see this after putting the mattress in though and if you used a screwdriver you could probably avoid it...but it will take way longer that way too.Overall, minor gripes but overall a really good value for a good, sturdy bed frame. It was pretty easy for my husband and me to assemble and held together well until we had to move. The new place has concrete floors that the bed frame would slide on and eventually the legs got bent nearly 45 degrees.
