My son and I love this game. We used to play down at a local game store. Unfortunately, I don’t think it made enough money for Wizards during COVID and the game was cancelled. On the positive side. The licensing for all of the art and the game has expired and there is a fairly large community of players using these now and producing their own in a very balanced way. The game is back and now fun again. I definitely recommend looking up the community and I still think purchasing the cards is worth it. Hours and hours of fun and strategy development involved in creating card decks.

Just what I wanted

My son collects these cards. He enjoys playing the card game. They were in good condition when they arrived.

Perfect as a gift, for collecting or just for the fun of it.

TLDR: Battle Cards 8/10, Characters 5/10. I'm an avid TF TCG player and heavily play some of the new battle cards from this set. Cards like Confidence, Swindled, Backup Beam, Power Punch, and Press the Advantage opened up new strategies and even elevated certain characters (Metroplex became tier 1). I haven't found the characters in the set useful, apart from the new Bumblebee and the Aerialbots team. Also, sometimes the Combiner characters are a little flimsy and break in half, so using character top loaders and not folding them is very wise.
