A brilliant continuation from volume one. The paper quality is amazing and the extra details at the end really make it feel deluxe.

Once again Grant Morrison manages to make a compelling story that confused me at many parts. To describe how I found it's quality it went up and down then up again. And the ending.. man. If you've seen golden wind then you know what I'm talking about.

I was really looking forward to this omnibus but I was crushed when I took it out of the box. The book was wet and smelled like chemicals. The dust jacket does not come off. The box it came in was in perfect condition. Im a collector so getting a book in this condition is unacceptable. Sending the book back.

The quality of the package -images and extras makes these packages a constantly giving treat (for me).

I really enjoyed reading this comic. This is a must if you love Nightwing as a character. It explores his relationship with his relationship with Damian and the Batman mantle. Though the side plots with Bruce trapped in space was a tad bit weird.

Grant Morrison wrote one of the best runs on Batman’s story, going from chapters of pure horror and a frightening feeling, to science fiction moments, can’t wait to finish the final volume!

You definitely should check out Batman by Grant Morrison Omnibus Vol. 1 if you haven’t already. This book continues right where that one left off. The story begins with Dick Grayson (the very first, and original Robin) has taken up the mantle of Batman. Bruce Wayne has been missing and is presumed dead. Bruce’s Son, Damian who was introduced in Omnibus Vol. 1 takes up the mantle of Robin. This presents a very unique dynamic between Batman & Robin, as now we have a lighthearted, optimistic Batman clashing with a grim and brooding Robin. There are a lot of growing pains along the way. Alfred Pennyworth really shines in this series, as he adds some much needed guidance for our two heroes. Within these stories you really come to love Alfred, as he is the very heart and soul of the Bat-Family. The Dynamic between Batman & Robin isn’t the only thing that has changed. Commissioner Gordon can tell that there’s something different about Batman & Robin, and is uncertain if he can trust them or not. We are introduced to an all-new Bat-mobile that we saw early in development in the first Morrison Batman Omnibus. Grant has also penned some new villains for our heroes to face, as well as some classic Rogues Gallery. The main & variant covers are printed just before each chapter. I’m pleased that the Bonus Content from the original collected editions has all been reprinted within this Omnibus. We finally get the Definitive reading order for Grant Morrison’s Batman run Batman & Robin 1-16, The Return of Bruce 1-6, and Batman 700-702 have been printed in chronological reading order for the first time, and I could not be happier!! The sequence order is a really smooth read and keeps a nice balanced tension. I was surprised at how well the different comic titles were juxtaposed. If you have already read Morrison’s Batman before, I can honestly say that it is worth getting this Omnibus as well as Batman by Grant Morrison Omnibus Vol. 1 . These books have been printed in a nice Deluxe size and in a great reading order. No need to switch in-between books while reading. I cannot express how much I love this Batman run! It’s without a doubt my absolute favorite! The re-read value is excellent, as there are lots of details that only present themselves upon revisiting.
