I realized it was a knot in the nylon stitching that was rubbing on my wrist. But I was able to rotate that knot around to a spot that didn't touch my wrist and it hasn't bothered me since. I really love the look of this watchband. It's attractive in a casual way. I suppose the plastic connectors aren't the most classy, but I like that they won't get scratched or tarnished, and they work well for a casual watchband. This band is more comfortable than silicone or metal bands and I find myself reaching for this band way more than any other that I own. The silicone ones feel so sticky and uncomfortable to me and the metal ones are heavy and I worry that I will forget to remove them when showering, thereby making them tarnish. I still like to remove this canvas band before I shower, but if I forget, it's not the end of the world. It just needs time to dry out and looks fine when it does. I liked the band so much that I bought the charcoal one as well. So between the denim and charcoal versions, I have a color for every casual outfit.
