I've purchased a couple of USB-C hubs in the past but was never really satisfied with my experience. It always seemed they were either too expensive, too bulky/heavy, or didn't have enough I/O features. I'm very glad to say that this is the first USB-C hub that ticks all of my boxes. It's cheap, it's sleek and very light, and has all the features I need for using with my laptop. As you'll see from the photos, it has three full-size USB 3.0 ports, a microSD and SD card slot, an HDMI output and a USB C passthrough which can be used for charging. I found that these were exactly the right ports I needed without making the device itself too big in order to support extra ports which I'd never use (such as VGA ports on other hubs). The hub is slim and very sturdy. It's made entirely of one piece of aluminium and doesn't feel like it would succumb to any kind of problems of wear and tear very easily. It also comes with a velour (I think) carrying pouch which is nice as it offers a bit of protection for when it gets thrown into my bag. You can see the device itself and the pouch that comes with it in the photos attached. If you're in the market for a USB-C hub with great features that won't break the bank, this would certainly be a great choice.

Strong aluminium case and has loads of ports. I have connected it to my Mac book pro and have mouse, keyboard, back up drive and a 27 inch monitor (through HDMI). It seems to drive them all with just one thunderbolt port. The only minor issue that might occur is with the connecting cable - it is not nylon braided so not sure how long it will last. I will come back and update the review if the product does get damaged soon.

I had been on hunt for cost effective adapter and this seems to be my choice after my search for 3 weeks. It has got the following ports 3 x USB 1 x USB-C 1 x 4K HDMI output 1 X SD Card 1 X Micro SD Card Instruction manuals are provided in the pack, but its all self-explanatory on looking at the adapter. This product comes with a pouch which is quite handy and noticed the adapter lead goes into small pocket section while in parallel the sleek adapter is in the handy pouch. Personally I like the pouch and gives a decent professional look. I have been taking to my work place this week and been very useful for presentation to connect with HDMI as I use MAC. Similarly was helpful when charging iPhone. I would recommend this product, Ordered on Friday and received Saturday morning 9AM, a very quick prompt delivery.

This was bought for me by my partner who had read good reviews of the product. It was nice to see the item come in a handy pouch (though admittedly the pouch is far too small for the item as the connecting cable hangs out the edge). The first use, I plugged it into my newly purchased MacBook Air, using it to charge my iPhone. Despite leaving my iPhone XR in, to charge for over an hour, I had lost 5% of battery life. I have since tried to use the adapter with my DJ controller (Pioneer DDJ400) and my MacBook overheated. It requested "unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices". This has happened with every device I plug into the adapter, with exception of my SD card. Assuming there's a fault in the adapter because everyone else has given such positive reviews? Seriously disappointed.

My OTG adapter stopped working on my Galaxy S9 so I got this to read my Nikon's SD Card. What a great bit of kit. Reads the Card perfectly, doesnt interfer with the case, let's me charge the phone while in use and lets me plug in 3 usb devices. Why would I do that? Because if you plug a TV HDMI cable in as well the S9 activates the DeX Station and becomes a PC like device. I can now do all my photo editing on my phone with out the need for a lap top or tablet. If you don't know what DeX station is, google it, it's not just mirroring the screen to the TV 😉.

I used this hub for a couple of weeks before returning it. This was connected to a Dell XPS13 and with two or three USB hard drives connected it seemed to transfer data without much problem. Disconnecting one hard drive did disconnect all the others at times which was frustrating. The problem came when I connected an HDMI cable to my monitor. This constantly flickered and was unusable. SD card transfer speeds were very slow compared to my UGreen SD card dongle so I ceased using it for this purpose early on. 3 stars as it is well designed, compact and performs fine with certain devices connected.

This is a great quality hub for USB C devices. It feels weighty and sturdy, but comes with a carry case if you want to protect it further. Giving you 4k HDMI, type C charger, card reader, and 3 USB 3 ports. This is great as so many devices now only come with a USB port on them. HDMI is great for screen sharing as well. Great price for the product. Very happy.

Completely blocks the wifi signal on my macbook pro 2017. Otherwise no issues and it looks well made - but not very useful if I can't use wifi while working. The customer service team was very helpful and tried to resolve the issue by sending out different models but ultimately I sent it back for a refund. The mackbooks 2017 seem especially sensitive to wifi interference when used with udb hubs.
