Is the quick link supplied with the chain a re useable one?

I know KMC do sell reusable links but not sure if this chain is supplied with one. What I can say is I have used these chains for years and never had an issue reusing the link after removing the chains once a week for a deep clean. I ride 200 miles weekly so my chains only last approx 2 months, not sure if there would be issues on a longer timescale. Great chains!

I bought a rockrider st520 bike, it came with this chain (kmc z7), but the bike is 8 speeds. is this chain for 8 speeds?

You would need the Z8, however there is negligible difference between the 6,7,8 speed chains so it would probably be ok. Please inspect the chain rings and cassette for wear as a new chains don't always mesh well with worn teeth.

I have an old apollo javelin 12 speed - is that chain compatible ? current one is 113 links

You should go for a z6 but the z7 would probably do. Watch for wear on the rings and cassette as a new chain doesn't always mesh well with worn parts
