**Q: Does it have a ratchet?**
A: No, it is a solid, non-ratcheting screwdriver.  Its strong point is the fact that it is JIS compliant.

**Q: Is this real b4633 jis, or the newer universal standard?**
A: Hello-On mine it is clearly designated 'P.1 x 75' below a taller font '220'
The dot after the P should be the designation for JIS standard.  It is a model
220 -- #1 JIS x 75mm long.  I hope this helps.

**Q: Are this made in Japan or Thailand**
A: Thailand.   NOT JAPAN.  It says on the screwdriver itself:  MADE IN THAILAND
Why are other posters saying Japan?  It is marked on the black band on the side opposite where it says VESSEL 220 P.1-75.
It is a solid, well made VESSEL product, but it is NOT made in Japan.
