Kool Collectibles Chrome Skull Shift Knob Shifter Rat Rod Lever

This was cool and I’m glad I ordered it. It came fast. Great shipping. I had to send it back because it didn’t fit my shifter. I was sooo sad! It wasn’t the seller’s fault. But mine.

Garbage... the chrome was faded...

I totally love the shift knob in my rig, but literally within a week, the ‘chrome’ began to wear off exposing the white plastic beneath. Won’t replace it, just yet but won’t buy another.. do your homework on how the knob (if ‘chrome’) is painted / coated, and what you’ll be stuck with in a few weeks of use.

A little tricky to install but doable with a little patience. I’m less than a week paint has faded and now it’s mostly a light cream or ivory color… what a bummer.

So this knob is actually really cool, if you understand that the paint will rub away over time. It leaves behind a bone color, with chrome remaining in the eyes and underneath (it also depends on how you hold the shifter). Once it wears completely in you have a really cool weathered look to the shifter, almost like a Terminator, and the resin feels awesome under your hand.

Super disappointed. Such a waste of money. The initial look was great, but the silver paint is gone in less than 2 weeks. I wish I could get a refund...
