Ruby's Party (Max and Ruby)

This book follows the typical Max & Ruby format. It is Ruby's birthday party & in typical Max fashion, he constantly interupts her. He wants her to open the presents first, but she wants to do all the other birthday party activities first. All throught the party, he keeps saying 'present'. In the other books and episodes I have seen, whatever he usually is saying is something to help Ruby with whatever she is working on. This time he is saying 'present' because (spoiler alert :-P) he wraps himself up and is her present. It wasn't as cute & clever as the others, such as 'Ruby's Cupcakes'. The kids seemed to like it, but again, not as much as the 'Cupcake' book.

My Son LOVES Max and Ruby books and show!I think this book would be a perfect beginning to read book! It was so cute and I can tell kids would love it. The illustrations of little bunnies will attract kids attention. A lot of kids have probably heard of or seen the TV show Max and Ruby so I think they would love this book because it is a way of having one of their favorite TV shows incorporated in their classroom.

My grand daughter loves Max and Ruby so I bought her this book for her 4th Birthday. I love reading but did not realize this book had to read inumerous times a day. So much so she can read along as she has memorized the book. Great book especially for Max and Ruby fans.

Ruby's Party was everything my son could have asked for in a book. I only wish that I had known that the book was not the same as the television episode, but I guess that is what is meant by "based on." It was a great way to compare and contrast the two. It didn't make us like the book any less. My son "reads" it frequently and is extremely protective of it.

This was a Valentine's Day surprise for a neighbor girlm very shy but very smart.Children love to get mail, and why not? It makes them feel cared for, cherished & important. And they should, and this one is.

We have never been disappointed with any of the Max and Ruby books. Max and Ruby, as well as Peppa Pig, are favorites of our granddaughter. She has us read them over and over and never gets tired of them. And she watches them on TV as well.The only one we ordered and haven't given to her is the Christmas one. That will be given to her closer to Christmas. She will love it, too.

We love Max & Ruby in our house and this book was a great addition to our collection! We also ordered extra copies of this book to give out as party favors at my daughter's 3rd 'Max & Ruby' themed birthday party.

My kids love all the Ruby and Max books, they are cute, funny and cute. Best of all they can both pick one and read it aloud easy reading and short with colorful illustrations. Don't mind reading these everynight before bed. Cute!

Bought for my daughter for getting to next stage reading very excited to receive!

Ruby and Max are a fun read for a two year old. If she doesn't want a story but I start reading anyway within seconds she's across the room and leaning on my knee.
