Put it under my work bench to light up a cabinet down under. Just the right amount of light. I use a plugin with a switch so it turns on with my peg board light above.

Satisfied and it seems to be what we needed at that location. Relatively easy install. Hiding the wire takes some planning. Just installed, hopefully, it will be durable and not fall off?? Would give 5 stars except for the problem with the mounting brackets, seen at the blue arrow in the pic. Their grasp of the light is unreliable; causing the light to fall off when handled (turn on/off by touch). Otherwise, it's just fine. It is very lightweight, literally; and made of light-weight materials (aluminum body). Maybe it will last long term. So, before mounting, I squeezed the brackets slightly (bent them inward) to increase the grasping tension. Pretty simple solution; we'll see how it works. If so, it is a simple mounting procedure (but not "just a few seconds, as the description states). I mounted it with 3M double-stick tape (provided) and that seems to hold the brackets on the cabinet. Also, screws are provided, if preferred. Turns on/off easily simply by touching the light for about 1/2 second. It's installed above a 2' counter and for a small area, the Brightness is about right. Face it, 205 lumens is not bright. There are brighter ones available at more cost. The mounting brackets have a hole in one side. Inserting a small screwdriver into there will spread the bracket and that will detach the light body from the mounting brackets if needed. Mfg. should point out that info in the skimpy instructions provided. After you've figured out how you are going to mount the brackets; yes, that part does mount in a minute or so using the 3M tape. Complete install actually will take about 10-20 minutes, if all the tools and materials are on hand. Be sure to crimp (squeeze slightly by hand) the brackets so they more firmly grasp the sides of the light body. You should hide the wire with cable clamps, staples, etc. Comments/questions that I saw. It has a 5' wire plug-in. Note, the light is 12 V. so the plug cannot be removed to hardwire. The wire is very fine and would not be too noticeable - it needs to run down the wall to the nearest electrical outlet. It is used every morning while having breakfast, etc. Have used it now for 7 months and it works perfectly - does not turn on or off spontaneously; does not flicker, it turns on and off easily. Some said that it doesn't turn off. The aluminum sides need to be touched for a brief 1/2 second. Just a light tap may not turn it on/off. I find the best technique is to gently squeeze the light between thumb and middle finger; otherwise, side force will pull it loose from the mounting brackets. I pulled it off from the mounting brackets. 1) the 3M tape is super strong, I could not pull the brackets off (mounted on painted wood). So that's good. 2) upon remounting to the brackets, I had a difficult time getting one of the brackets to grasp the light. I squeezed it together more and eventually, it held. Recommend mounting the brackets about an inch from the ends. That enabled sliding into the good bracket after resolving the problem with the weaker one. 3) I'm skeptical that the flimsy attachment to the brackets will fail. To "Corporate" you need to redesign to make a stronger grip of the brackets to the side of the housing. Would give a 5 star, if not for that design flaw. The adapter states: "CONFORMS TO UL STD 1310" Also the Symbol FC (which actually is FCCC) is a U.S. standard for Power Banks (the adapter). Looks like it's certified? The adapter States Input 100-240 V; 0.5A max and Output 12V + 1.0A. The User Manual states Wattage: Max 4.1W.

This is a small light bar. If you need a small light bar, they're not too easy to find, as the others which may seem similar might also be quite larger. I have this mounted under a one-inch lip on my desk and it fits in there just perfectly. Similar light bars may have battery power; this one doesn't, which is one reason it is nice and thin. You also can change the brightness but not the temperature, which is fine. Great solution for a crowded space where I wanted the light but I wanted the light bar to be invisible and not take up any horizontal space. Recommended for this kind of use!

AMENDED MARCH! I missed the fact that it is SOO EASY TO SHUT OFF BY LT TOUCH ON SIDE [IN A PLACE?] JUST GENTLE TOUCH THE SIDE. EASY PEASY..END OF AMENDED. Wondering about removing the stick-ons? They're strong so I was more careful by using a flat head screwdriver to lever off the stickers. JUST PLENTY STRONG WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE WHATSOEVER TO PAINTED CUPBOARD. When repositioning All good STICK. don't fool emptying tools out of the bag as I lost one of the screws as they are vy small. No problem as stick ons available. has pin w/handle and small screwdriver. comes with 2 mounts to the light which CLIP on easily and don't scrape. Then you put the 2 stick ons which do hold under the counter. Not a hint of dropping. It's not heavy. Don't know motion detection but see swiping the light shuts it on and off. Bright in spite of thin,about 1" and only about a foot long. Plenty of light. Also best price for under the counter light when browsing. LED'S!

I bought two of these to try. Wow, they were perfect for what I needed (easy to install, perfect brightness, easy to use), so I ordered two more. That is where the trouble began. One of the second order of two didn't work. So it went back for a REPLACEMENT. I loved these enough to want a replacement instead of a refund. Well, guess what? The replacement didn't work either! So, now I had to send the replacement back for a replacement (yes, I loved them that much to give them the benefit of the doubt), but was unable to do so - I was only able to return the replacement for a refund. So, I packed up the replacement-for-the-replacement. UPS picked it up and left me a receipt. It arrived back to Amazon within days. I waited. No refund. No refund. No refund. So I finally did an online chat with an Amazon CSR about it and was told a refund was issued and I would get an email in 3-5 days letting me know I had received it. Well, guess what? No email and nowhere can I find the refund. I'm still trying to get a refund for the bad replacement of my replacement. These are great lights, don't get me wrong, but if you get a bad one, I hope your luck is better than mine at getting a working replacement or a refund.

Product was as described. Needed strips and cords black in color so they would blend in with my furniture. I also reached out to the seller with a few questions and received prompt responses from them prior to purchasing.

The touch switch allows dimming or brightening. Nice white light. I used the two sided adhesive strips to attach the light under a shelf in my living room displaying photos on the shelf below. Classy looking.

Todo excelente,pero si se va la energía eléctrica, al regresar se enciende por si solo, eso es un inconveniente.

Needed to move closer than wanted. Thought it would illuminate the corner of my countertop, but not bright enough, so I had to put it directly above where I prep my food. Works great, would have been nice to have some cable management pieces for under the cupboards.
