Brushless Submersible Water Pump DC 12V Amphibious Pump 800L/H 5M for Pond Aquarium Fish Tank Solar Fountain Pool Water Circulation System

I have a Meaco dehumidifier in my basement that has a DC connection for a pump but their official one costs £60. I bought this and a DC barrel connector and it works perfectly for a fraction of the price. The dehumidifier has been running constantly for almost two years now and the pump runs every time the tank fills (usually about 2-3 times a day) and it’s still going strong. This pumps the water about 1.8 meters vertically and then a further 2 or so meters horizontally, I have small holes along the horizontal part of the hose to water two planters at the front of my house and the pressure is still good.

Easy installation. Solid build and great value for money. It couldn't suck up the water if I connected a hose to each end, had one hose in the water (inlet) and the other away, having the pump outside the water. It required immersion of the pump itself into water which is quite understandable - just as advertised. So I required only one hose - the outlet hose. The pump worked beautifully once immersed, with a strong jet for its size. I should give it 5 stars but for a bad/no documentation. I can excuse the Chinese manufacturers, but texts in the manual/specifications of a product marketed in the UK should be in intelligible English language. I would expect the UK/European distributors to produce a useful manual for this product.

A great little pump, used to pump out a grey water tank on a campervan, does the job very well, impressive for the small size, easy to use and low power, impressive flow rate.

Not used it yet as bought it for a pond filter system project that I’m still working on. For a submersible the lead is far to short. I have jointed extra cable using a number of heat shrink sleeves in the hope it will be water proof as the joint will be under water when installed in the pond.

Broke on second use. Cheap tat, should have known better... Avoid.

Power wire is maybe about a foot long, but I'll try extending it and hope the solar panel can still get enough current to the pump. My Hozelock fitting screws onto the pump outlet, but the inlet needed a smaller hose fitting which fortunately I found among my various hose fittings. This pump will drain out if it is above water level, so I might need to dig a hole for it nearer the panel output wire. Then, happily, no need for longer wire. I am not overjoyed, but will update my review once the poxy thing is running. I do not enjoy this kind of thing and am no good at it, but when it is done it will be lovely.

Installed the pump in my little water chiller. It was leaking from the first attempt to fit a M20 connector with rubber sealing. The plastic was very rough on the M20 connector and probably the cause of the leak. Applied some teflon tape which is totally not needed normally. Now the leak is patched. I also feel that the pump is getting very hot after a while running. Not sure if it will last long like this... So bit disapointed.
