What kind of inputs are on the rear? RCA or XLR? Does it pass through audio when powered off?

It uses RCA connectors. Not sure if it passes through audio wen powered off cause I use this for the lights in my studio.

How do you hook this unit up ?

RCA plugs a pair for input and a pair to output.

Can the sensitivity be adjusted so that 90db would show red instead of green?

Yes. By adjusting the "adjuster knob" located at the right of the device. Use a small size Phillips screwdriver and turn the knob very slowly as the DB level is very sensitive (clockwise or counter) do this for each channel.

Can the rack handle be detached ?

you must attach the ears to use a rack mount first
